Beera farmhouse is a 4 star, gold awarded B&B, set amidst 300 acres of farmland where my husband farms 1100 north country mule sheep and 40 pedigree Charolais cattle.

Room 1

Affording stunning views across the Tamar Valley, this room has a king size four poster bed and original oak flooring. The feel here is of classic country luxury.

Room 2

Bright and airy with views out onto rolling green fields with the farm’s own grazing sheep.

Can be either a twin or super king double and room three has a king size bed. Camp bed can be added to room 1 & 2 for small child to share with parents.

Excellent evening meals using home produced lamb and other local ingredients are served by prior arrangement 3-4 times a week, special diets can be catered for. You are welcome to bring your own wine to enjoy with dinner.

Hear owls hooting, birds chirping, sheep bleating and cows mooing. See pheasants roaming around the garden. Green finches, goldfinches, blue tits, coal tits, nuthatches, long tail tits and great spotted woodpeckers feeding at the bird table. In spring buzzards can often be seen in the sky swirling to the ground in their mating courtship.

Beera Farmhouse B&B is an ideal base for touring the west country. Many national trust properties such as Cotehele, Lanhydrock, Castle Drogo, Saltram house, Buckland Abbey and many more. The famous Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Rosemoor gardens, Morwellham Quay (as featured in the BBC Edwardian Farm) and the new War Horse exhibition at Winkleigh. Along with sandy beaches, quaint fishing villages and the beautiful Dartmoor national park all within 15- 60 minutes drive. Cycling, fishing, horse riding and golf can be arranged locally.


For those with children or the young at heart there is a climbing barn at Milton Abbot, a fun farm at Trethorne Leisure farm Kennards House with bowling and restaurant, Creely adventure park, Woodlands, Kents caverns, Go Karting and Tree surfing.
